Since then, Bake Boost has grown a lot – because of you. You told us what you needed to run and grow your bakery, Cake Shop, and we listened

Why We’re Making This Change

When Bake Boost launched, it had:

But thanks to your feedback, Bake Boost now includes:

This is a significantly different product from when we began, offering substantially more value. To continue improving Bake Boost and supporting bakers worldwide, we’re transitioning to a model that reflects this value, while giving you more control over what you pay for.

These improvements have increased our operating costs, but more importantly, they’ve made Bake Boost far more valuable for serious bakers. To continue investing in the features you’ve requested, we’re transitioning to a fully paid model.

What’s Changing

Starting November 1, 2025, New Bakers / Customers will subscribe under our new tier-based pricing model and will be retiring the free plan:

Bake Boost will have three packages:

  1. Essentials – US $11/month – CAD $15/month. Core tools for solo/home bakers to manage daily operations.
  2. Growth – $21/month – CAD $29/month. Advanced tools for small shops to sell online, accept payments, track stock, and market their business.
  3. Pro – $36/month – CAD $49/month. Scaling tools for established bakeries – multi-user roles, production planning, loyalty programs, and advanced AI automation.

This modular approach allows bakers to pay only for what they need, while providing them with the ability to scale as they grow.

This is the first significant pricing change since the launch of Bake Boost.

What This Means for Current Users (Bakers)

We want to make this transition smooth and fair for everyone.

Why is Bake Boost changing its pricing?

Since its launch, Bake Boost has evolved from a simple order tracker to a comprehensive bakery management system. Today, you can run a storefront, accept online payments, manage inventory, automate reminders, send campaigns, and even use AI helpers. These upgrades increase our costs but also deliver far more value. To keep improving, we’re moving to a three-tier paid model.

What do the * features mean in the pricing table?

Features marked with an asterisk (*) are part of our product roadmap. They’re already in development and will be rolled out gradually. When they launch, they’ll be included in your plan at no extra cost.

We use this marker to be transparent about what’s available today and what’s coming soon, so you know Bake Boost is actively improving

What happens to the free plan?

The free plan expires on November 1, 2025.

  • If you’re currently on the free plan, you’ll have until 31st December to move to any plan (Essentials, Growth, or Pro) to keep creating orders.

What happens to my existing Paid Subscription

If you’re already a premium subscriber:

  • You’ll be moved to the Pro plan at your current pricing

  • This grandfathered rate is guaranteed for the next 24 months.

  • After that, pricing will align with the Pro plan’s regular rate.

No action required on your part.

Will my data be safe if I don’t upgrade?

Yes. Your orders, recipes, and customer info will remain intact. If you don’t pick a plan, your account will switch to read-only mode so that you can view and export your data anytime.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade between Essentials, Growth, and Pro at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and billing is prorated automatically.

Is there a refund if the new pricing doesn’t work for me?

We offer a 14-day free trial on your first signup. We only charge when you decide to choose the plan after the trial period

What if this pricing materially impacts my bakery?

Reply to your announcement email or contact support. We’ll do our best to work something out – we want Bake Boost to remain accessible for bakers who rely on it.

Will you keep adding new features?

Yes! Pricing changes enable us to continue investing in the features bakers request most — such as expanding payment integration, expense tracking, and new AI marketing tools. We’ll continue to publish roadmap updates, so you can see what’s coming.
